We have the best trained specialists who travel across Wyoming to bring that care to a facility near you. Make sure to check our locations across the state of Wyoming. A Board Certified gastroenterologist has completed 3 years of internal medicine training after medical school, followed by an additional 3 years of sub-specialty training focused exclusively on digestive diseases. Recent studies have concluded that a fully-trained gastroenterologist is more likely to detect adenomas (precancerous lesions) and remove them before they turn into cancer. Studies also show that they are much more likely to adhere to the frequency for follow-up
