JARABE Brings a Celebration of Music and Culture to Casper City Park |
A free evening concert will bring vibrant sounds, cultural influences and community together in the heart of Casper this Saturday. |

Casper City Park will come alive with music this Saturday as JARABE takes the stage for a free outdoor concert on September 5.
Presented by ARTCORE, the performance begins at 6 PM at Casper City Park, 711 S. Center St., giving the community an opportunity to enjoy an evening of live music without the cost of admission.
JARABE brings together a wide range of musical influences, creating a sound that crosses cultural and musical boundaries. Their music draws from Mexican folk traditions, Norteño and Tex-Mex, Cumbia, Caribbean sounds, Rock en Español and American rock and roll, giving audiences plenty of different rhythms and styles to experience throughout the performance.
But an evening like this is about more than the music itself.
A free concert in the park gives people a reason to get outside, bring family and friends together, meet other members of the community and simply enjoy a summer evening with something playing in the background. There is no need for a complicated plan—just find a comfortable spot, settle in and let the music become part of the evening.
JARABE's performance also gives Casper an opportunity to experience music shaped by different cultural traditions in one setting. For longtime fans, it can be a chance to hear the group live again. For someone discovering them for the first time, it may be the beginning of a new musical favorite.
And because the concert is free, it is an easy invitation for anyone looking for something enjoyable to do Saturday evening.
Bring the people you love. Bring a blanket or a chair. Come ready to listen, move with the rhythm and enjoy the atmosphere of a community gathered together for music.
Sometimes the best concerts aren't behind expensive doors or under bright stage lights. Sometimes they're right in the park, with the evening sky above you and the sound of music bringing everyone a little closer together.
JARABE takes over Casper City Park this Saturday, September 5, at 6 PM. Admission is free, and everyone is invited to come experience an evening of music and culture in the heart of Casper.
