As fantasy football season gets underway, Wyoming Ale Works is giving local leagues an opportunity to make that annual tradition an in-person gathering. The Casper restaurant is offering a fantasy football promotion through September 6, 2026, inviting groups of six or more to reserve a table for their draft.

For participating groups, the promotion includes a reserved table, nearby televisions, complimentary Wi-Fi, a free appetizer for the group, and $2 off every draft beer during the reservation.

While those perks are part of the promotion, the bigger value may simply be having a reason to get everyone in the same place.

In a time when much of everyday communication can happen through group chats, social media, and video calls, activities that bring people together face-to-face can become meaningful community traditions. A fantasy football draft gives people a reason to put down their phones for a while, sit around the same table, catch up, laugh, debate, and enjoy each other's company.

The restaurant says it has 40 craft beers on tap, along with a chef-driven menu featuring fresh, regionally sourced ingredients.
