Art on the River Returns This Weekend at Tate Pumphouse

Art enthusiasts have two chances this weekend to discover local talent at Art on the River, a free community event at the Tate Pumphouse. Organized by Art on the Go, the event kicks off Friday evening from 5 to 8 PM with hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, and live music by PJ as guests mingle with local artists.

According to Oil City News, Saturday's session runs from 10 AM to 4 PM, featuring 17 Art on the Go members displaying work created throughout the winter months. The showcase includes jewelry, watercolor paintings, pastels, and oil paintings from artists across the region.

Laura Freeman, Art on the Go's treasurer and content creator, says the event serves as a preview for their larger summer gathering, Art in the Park, which attracts about 70 vendors from Wyoming and Colorado.

Skull Tree Brewing will be on site both days serving craft beers and sodas, with live music throughout the weekend.
