Downtown Casper has another reason to embrace the Halloween season as Backwards Distilling Company transforms its tasting room into The Other Side, a limited-time pop-up running from October 21 through November 1, 2026. With themed cocktails and an atmosphere inspired by the mysterious and supernatural, the experience offers a seasonal twist on a visit to one of Casper’s family-owned craft distilleries.

Located at 214 South Wolcott Street, Backwards Distilling Company has built its identity around distinctive spirits and a playful approach to the craft. Founded by the Pollock family in 2014, the business began in Mills before expanding to include its downtown Casper tasting room. Its Halloween pop-up continues that creative spirit, inviting guests to step into a setting designed especially for the spooky season.

Called The Other Side, the pop-up plays on the idea of bringing the departed back to life, with the distillery promoting signature cocktails and an atmosphere that fits the Halloween theme. Rather than being a permanent installation, the experience is available for a limited time, giving visitors a short window to enjoy the seasonal transformation before it ends.

The event also highlights the variety of experiences local businesses can offer beyond their everyday services. Seasonal menus and themed environments give returning customers something new to discover while providing visitors with another way to explore downtown Casper. For a locally rooted distillery, a Halloween pop-up creates an opportunity to combine its existing identity with the imagination and atmosphere of the season.

Whether visitors are stopping in to sample a themed cocktail or simply curious to see how the tasting room has been transformed, The Other Side offers a distinctly Halloween-inspired addition to Casper’s October activities. Guests should check the tasting room’s current hours before visiting, as the location is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The The Other Side Halloween pop-up runs through Sunday, November 1, at Backwards Distilling Company, 214 South Wolcott Street in Casper. For event details and updates, visitors can check the distillery’s official website or contact the tasting room at 307-337-1255.
