Behind the Badge Date Night Gives Casper’s Law Enforcement Couples a Night to Reconnect |
A free October 9 gathering will bring law enforcement officer couples together for dinner, laughter and an evening centered on encouragement, connection and time away from the everyday routine. |

Behind every badge is someone who spends their days serving others. And behind many of those officers is a partner who shares in the demands, schedule changes and responsibilities that come with the job.
On Friday, October 9, 2026, Casper will have an opportunity to celebrate both sides of that story during Behind the Badge Date Night, a free event created specifically for law enforcement officer couples.
Hosted by Wyoming Strong Families, The Richardson Foundation and Foster’s Outriders, the evening will take place at the Rone Home Banquet Hall in Casper. Organizers are creating a space where couples can step away from the usual routine, enjoy one another’s company and simply have a good night together.
Part of the evening will be a complimentary dinner catered by Occasions by Cory, giving attending couples the chance to sit down for a meal and enjoy a night that has been planned with them in mind.
But dinner is only part of the experience.
The event is built around encouragement, connection and laughter, creating an atmosphere where couples can relax and spend intentional time together.
For people in law enforcement, time can move quickly. Responsibilities can pull attention in many directions, making opportunities to slow down and reconnect especially meaningful. A dedicated evening can provide a simple reminder that relationships deserve time and attention, too.
Behind the Badge Date Night also offers the broader Casper community a way to show appreciation.
Supporting law enforcement is not limited to the work officers do while wearing the badge. Their relationships and support systems are part of their lives as well, and creating opportunities for officers and their partners to strengthen those connections can be another way a community says thank you.
That is what gives this event its heart.
There is no formal agenda required to appreciate an evening together. Sometimes it is enough to share a meal, laugh with one another and enjoy a setting where the focus is simply on being together.
The organizers are encouraging community members who know a law enforcement officer to invite them to attend. The event is free, but space is limited, making registration important.
Registration closes Friday, October 2, 2026.
For the couples who attend, October 9 can be an opportunity to put the outside world on pause for a few hours and make time for something that can be easy to overlook: each other.
And for the community, it is a chance to say something simple but meaningful.
We see you.
We appreciate you.
And we are grateful for the people standing beside you, too.
