The annual Casper Children’s Chorale Christmas performance, “Melodies of Christmas”, helped our community of Casper get into the Christmas spirit this past Sunday, December 14, at Highland Park Community Church.

With the talented Director, Erin Zavodny leading the Children’s Chorale, and Morgan Dailey leading Bel Canto, the children sang Christmas songs such as, "O’ Come, O’ Come Emannuel", "Light a Candle", and "Silent Night".

Resonate, a group consisting of former Children’s Chorale members whose ages range from 80 years old down to 16 years old, performed the songs “Patapan”, “The Work of Christmas”, as well as a mashup of childhood Christmas favorites.

It was an evening of community and a welcoming to the true spirit of the holidays.

The smiles on the faces of all who were present really brought to light the biggest meaning of the season.

The next performance for the Casper Children’s Chorale will be in the Spring for their concert in May.
