A Weekend of Fandom and Creativity: Wyoming Pop Culture Con Returns to Casper |
From cosplay and collectibles to comics and celebrity guests, Wyoming Pop Culture Con is bringing fans together for a weekend celebrating the worlds they love. |

Casper is getting ready for a weekend filled with costumes, creativity, and pop culture as Wyoming Pop Culture Con returns to Eastridge Mall on October 3 and 4, 2026. Now in its fourth year, the event invites fans, collectors, artists, and curious visitors to enjoy a celebration of comics, entertainment, and the communities built around them.
As a nonprofit event with free general admission, Wyoming Pop Culture Con offers an accessible way for people of all ages to explore their interests, discover new creative work, and connect with fellow fans. Whether someone is passionate about comic books, animated characters, collectibles, or cosplay, the convention promises a lively weekend with something to catch their attention.
One of the weekend’s highlights will be the fourth annual cosplay contest, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, at 2 p.m. Cosplay gives fans an opportunity to bring their favorite characters to life through costumes, craftsmanship, and performance. The contest celebrates the creativity and effort behind these transformations, making it a must-see moment for attendees who enjoy the artistry of fandom.
Sunday brings another opportunity for costume enthusiasts with the convention’s first annual cosplay catwalk, beginning at 1 p.m. The new addition gives participants another way to show off their creations and gives visitors a chance to appreciate the imagination and detail that go into each look.
The guest lineup also adds excitement to the weekend. Leraldo Anzaldua, a voice actor known for his work in animation and entertainment, will be part of the event, offering fans an opportunity to meet a performer whose voice work has helped bring characters to life.
Comic book fans will also have a special connection to the convention through Kevin B. Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Eastman has contributed raffle packages for the event, adding a little extra excitement for attendees hoping to take home something memorable.
Beyond the scheduled activities and guests, the convention’s artist alley and vendor areas will give visitors plenty to explore. Local and visiting artists, including Ella Bishop-Heil of Strange on the Range, will showcase creative work, while vendors will offer collectibles, comic books, trading cards, Funko Pops, and other pop culture finds. For collectors, it can be an opportunity to discover a new favorite item or add something special to an existing collection.
Food will also be part of the experience, with food trucks and indoor options available at the mall, including The Blind Pig and Cloud City Cotton Candy. Visitors can take a break between activities, browse the booths, and enjoy a bite without stepping away from the convention atmosphere for long.
Wyoming Pop Culture Con takes place Saturday, October 3, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, October 4, from noon to 6 p.m. at Eastridge Mall in Casper. With free general admission, the event offers an inviting weekend outing for longtime fans and anyone interested in seeing the creativity and enthusiasm that make pop culture conventions special.
