Casper families will soon have a new way to turn an ordinary day indoors into an adventure.

The Casper Pickleball and Sports Complex has announced plans for a major indoor expansion that will introduce a multi-story adventure park designed to give children and families a place to climb, balance, move and challenge themselves in a climate-controlled environment.

The new adventure park is planned to feature a zip line, ropes courses and a ninja obstacle course, creating a mix of activities that can appeal to different ages and interests. Rather than being limited by the season or Wyoming weather, the indoor setting will allow families to enjoy the experience throughout the year.

For kids, an adventure course can be about much more than simply having fun. Climbing higher, navigating an obstacle or making it across a ropes course can turn play into an opportunity to build confidence, coordination and persistence.

The multi-story design also adds a different dimension to the complex, giving visitors an experience that goes beyond traditional court-based recreation. With multiple activities built into one destination, families will have more opportunities to spend time together while staying active.

The expansion is another addition to Casper's growing collection of recreation options for children and families. Having more indoor destinations is especially valuable in a community where outdoor recreation is a major part of everyday life but weather can sometimes determine when those activities are possible.
