Every summer, Downtown Casper transforms into a lively gathering place where shopping, entertainment and community spirit come together for one of the city's most anticipated traditions.

This year, the 65th Annual Crazy Days returns on Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, inviting residents and visitors to spend the weekend exploring local businesses while enjoying activities for the entire family.

Organized by the Downtown Casper Business Association, Crazy Days has become much more than a seasonal shopping event. For more than six decades, it has provided an opportunity to support locally owned businesses, discover special promotions, and experience the energy that makes Downtown Casper such an important part of the community. From longtime local retailers to first-time visitors exploring downtown, the event continues to bring people together while celebrating the businesses that help Casper thrive.

Shopping takes center stage throughout both days, with participating downtown businesses offering sidewalk sales and special promotions. Stores will welcome shoppers from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, giving everyone plenty of time to browse, shop, and discover local favorites.

Beyond the shopping, the weekend offers entertainment for every age. Friday evening wraps up with a Silent Disco at David Street Station from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., creating a unique downtown experience where participants dance to music through wireless headphones beneath the summer sky.

Saturday brings even more reasons to spend the day downtown. Families can visit the Kids Area, open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while car enthusiasts can admire a classic and custom car show running from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. As the sun begins to set, the celebration continues with the Wild Nights Concert at David Street Station, featuring Garth Live, a tribute to country music legend Garth Brooks, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Whether you're searching for great deals, spending time with family, enjoying live entertainment, or simply exploring downtown, Crazy Days offers something for nearly everyone. Events like this not only celebrate Casper's vibrant business community but also remind us how local traditions continue to bring neighbors together year after year.

The Downtown Casper Business Association encourages everyone attending to come prepared for a summer weekend outdoors by bringing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Since individual business hours and promotions may vary, shoppers are encouraged to check with their favorite downtown stores before heading out.
