The Casper Ice Arena is launching a series of ice skating lessons tailored for children, starting this December.
These programs are designed to cater to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and enjoy the art of skating.

Program Details:
Classes are priced at $75 per session.
Whether your child is stepping onto the ice for the first time or looking to refine their skills, there's a class suited for them.
Here's a breakdown of the available programs:
Snowplow Sam Program (Ages 4–6):
Focuses on developing coordination and strength, laying the foundation for future skating endeavors.
Basic 1 (Ages 6 and Up):
Introduces fundamental skills such as standing, safe falling, marching, and basic movements on the ice.
Basic 2:
Builds upon Basic 1, teaching gliding, swizzles, and stops.
Completion of Basic 1 is a prerequisite.
Basic 3:
Designed for those who have completed Basic 1 and 2, focusing on more advanced skating techniques.
Skating sessions are available throughout most of the year, with classes commencing in December.
The only months without sessions are May, June, July, and August, providing ample opportunities for your child to engage in this exciting activity.
According to the City of Casper, these sessions tend to fill up quickly.
