Sometimes, a night out in Casper can be about more than good music, good food and a cold pint. Tonight, the community has an opportunity to enjoy all three while supporting athletes who continue to work toward their goals through Special Olympics Wyoming.

Black Tooth Brewing Company is hosting a Community Pint Night today, Thursday, September 10, from 3 to 10 p.m., with $1 from every pint benefiting Special Olympics Wyoming athletes. It is a simple way to enjoy an evening downtown while helping create opportunities for athletes who dedicate time, effort and determination to their sports.

The evening will also feature live music from 6 to 9 p.m., giving guests another reason to stay, relax and enjoy the night with friends. WY Knot Pretzel Co. will be serving food beginning at 4:30 p.m., adding a local bite to the evening.

But at the heart of the event are the athletes being supported. Special Olympics provides athletes with opportunities to train, compete, build confidence and challenge themselves, and community support helps make those experiences possible.

For the athletes, every opportunity to compete represents more than a game. It can mean setting a goal, working toward it and having the chance to stand alongside teammates and represent themselves and their community. By supporting tonight's Community Pint Night, Casper residents are helping athletes continue chasing those dreams and giving their families, friends and community another reason to be proud of what they accomplish.

The Community Pint Night takes place today at Black Tooth Brewing Company, 322 S. David St. in Casper, from 3 to 10 p.m. WY Knot Pretzel Co. begins serving at 4:30 p.m., followed by live music from 6 to 9 p.m. With every pint contributing $1 to Special Olympics Wyoming athletes, tonight's gathering offers Casper a chance to have a good time while supporting a meaningful cause.
