Local law enforcement agencies invite applications for annual holiday program supporting underprivileged children |
The Casper Police Department, in collaboration with the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and the Evansville and Mills Police Departments, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Shop With A Cop program.
This cherished initiative aims to provide a joyful holiday experience for underprivileged children in our community, ensuring they have the opportunity to celebrate the season with gifts and positive interactions with local law enforcement.
In partnership with both Walmart stores in Casper, participating children will have the chance to select Christmas gifts for themselves and their family members.
Paper applications are available at all Natrona County law enforcement agencies, including the Midwest Police Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
Important Dates:
Application Deadline: October 15, 2025
Family Notifications Begin: October 27, 2025
Event Dates: December 6 and 7, 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
• Children must be between 3 and 12 years old.
• Families must reside in Natrona County.
• Children should be comfortable separating from their families during the shopping experience.
