Trails Center Opens and Announces Annual 'Holiday on the Homestead'

Celebrate the Season Pioneer-Style at Casper's National Historic Trails Interpretive Center

The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper is thrilled to announce its reopening and the return of the cherished annual event, 'Holiday on the Homestead.'

 

Scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., this festive gathering invites the community to experience the holidays through the lens of pioneer life.

 

Attendees can look forward to an array of engaging activities, including model train displays, live performances, and hands-on crafts suitable for all ages.

 

Trails Center Manager Jessie Horn expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, "We are so grateful to re-open, welcome back visitors, and look forward to this holiday tradition."

 

She encourages everyone to join in the historical holiday celebration with friends and family.

 

Additional performances and activities are planned and will be announced as the event approaches.

 

The celebration is free and open to the public.

Regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST.
